'Becoming Fools' is the story inspired by a man named Italo who devoted his life to the youth living in the dangerous streets of Guatemala City. His untimely death and the great need of the youth he served, inspired our team to document his work, his influence and the hope that it continues to bring.
What can a STORY do?
Our first film proved what story can do. “Reparando” inspired art camps for kids, sizable donations given to Guatemalan relief and mission organizations and a new generation of support at the ground level of the problems highlighted in the film.
Becoming Fools can do even MORE!
Becoming Fools inspired change in Guatemala before the film was even finished. NGO's, civic groups and churches rallied together to collaborate in responding to the issue. There is potential for even greater fruit. This story will provide the leverage needed to make a difference in the lives of homeless youth across the globe.
