On the porch at Glen Leven Farm, participants gathered around a shared table to work with ceramic pieces, patterns, and gold-colored seams. Hands were busy making; decorated bowls were held up and shared, with refreshments alongside the activity.
Floral patterns, bold marks, and words of faith gave the pieces their own visual character.
Kintsugi is the Japanese tradition of repairing broken pottery with lacquer and highlighting the joins with gold. Our gathering drew inspiration from this tradition through a creative activity with ceramic pieces and gold-colored seams.
